As a volunteer with YWAM, I am just that: a volunteer. I don’t receive any sort of salary and I entirely pay my own way, which includes a monthly fee to live on the ship, various insurances, nursing licensing fees, a cell phone plan, flights to/from home once per year, and a tithe + generosity fund. Altogether, I need to raise approximately $1600.00 CAD per month to cover these various costs (Click here to see a full breakdown of my budget vs income)

I am asking that you would prayerfully consider partnering with me financially, so that I am able to bless the people of Papua New Guinea and do what I love. If you are interested in a one-time or even monthly donation, all of my donations will be processed by YWAM Canada and then sent directly to my bank account, and you will receive a taxable receipt.

God is good. Even when it doesn't feel like it. I've been back in Papua New Guinea for about two weeks now, after a lovely and refreshing time visiting with family and friends in Canada. Although it hasn’t been very long, it feels like it's been much longer. I was excited to come back; I missed my friends aboard the ship and was itching to get back to work, and while those aspects of being back are really great, there have been a lot of challenges and spiritual warfare surrounding everything. They're all really petty things to be honest, but when they're all happening at the same time it gets to be really discouraging, and I look back at all that happened that first week, I can't believe it was only a week! Update: First Week Aboard YWAM Liberty

Important update: I am alive and well, and I have been aboard the YWAM Liberty in Papua New Guinea for the past week! I have spent the last week settling into life with my new ship family, and prepping for our first outreach, which is a land-based outreach to the highlands region of Mount Hagen!  It has been a hectic week of planning, packing supplies, doing inventory, and arranging for volunteers to arrive. Already God has really stretched me when it comes to trusting that He is sovereign, that He loves me, loves what I am doing, and that He will come through for me in the end.  God cares about the little details; tonight as I was trying to pack for this outreach, I felt like there was no way I would get my bag underweight and still include all the supplies we need.
